President Donald Trump has derided the Fifth Amendment as the refuge of mobsters, and during Watergate President Richard Nixon infamously told aides, “I want you all to stonewall it, let them plead the Fifth Amendment, cover up, or anything else.” Truly a man of his word.

Every time Tiny opens his mouth he admits to more crimes. He is not able to take advantage of the fifth, although he pleads it when under oath.

    “Amendment V

Nah, Trump is really considering his “zeroth” Amendment rights: “Can’t indict or bring to trial anyone named Trump, because he is running for POTUS”.

“A president under indictment would represent a constitutional crisis. We could very well have a sitting president under felony indictment and ultimately a criminal trial. It would grind government to a halt.” Traitor45 at a Nov. 5, 2016 rally referring to a Hillary Clinton being elected and ultimately indicted for her private email server.

Well, as Little Donnie has said many, many times, only guilty people need to plead the fifth. And since he’s totally innocent of everything, as he’s said many more times, he shouldn’t need the fifth. So we’re all set, right?

This is so weird. Trump claims the 5th when questioned under oath and then voluntarily spouts answers in every public forum afterward.

No matter the evidence, there will be sympathetic jurors (and/or judges) that will keep him out of jail. American justice has met its match.. save the taxpayers money and give up.

Joe Scarborough, a former friend of Trump’s turned bitter enemy, said that Trump really does not seem to understand how much trouble he’s facing.

“I don’t know if Donald Trump understands,” Scarborough said. “He’s talking like a mobster. ‘It would be a shame, very dangerous for Jack Smith and his family’ and they’re more dangerous now than in 2020 or 2016.”

“He’s just so stupid, he really is,” said Scarborough. “He just doesn’t understand. He’s going up against the feds!”

“He doesn’t understand that he can’t bully and bluster and threaten his way out of criminal charges that are coming, because he broke the law, because he stole nuclear secrets, because he stole secret plans to attack Iran, because he stole secret military secrets, because he has, people all around him, all around him, on Jan. 6, that are testifying against him. No Democrats! No moderate Republicans, all Trumpers!” Scarborough went on.

“Everybody that he ever hired has gone before the grand jury, everybody that was around him Jan. 6 went before the grand jury. All Trumpers!” he said. “And he’s going to be charged for some of the most serious crimes in America, and his response?”

“His response, instead of talking to his lawyers saying, ‘Hey, get me a deal. I don’t know what it’s going to look like, but get me a deal, because they’ve got me dead to right. My own people are the people testifying against me. Get me a deal.’ Instead of that he goes on an Iowa radio show and like a mobster threatens Jack Smith,” Scarborough went on.

“Has he not looked at pictures of Jack Smith?” he asked. “This guy looks like the judge on ‘Andor,’ all right? He looks like the guy that takes the good guy from the ‘Star Wars’ galaxy and throws him into jail for life. He doesn’t understand.” “Does he think Jack Smith is going to be intimidated by mob-like threats?”

Orange Traitor’s favorite Amendment, by far. Funny that he himself once said only criminals plead the fifth. I believe he’s already done that over 440 times. Can’t wait for him to continue that route. I wonder if he realizes it’s not the shield he believes it is?

The Trump family combined has pleaded the 5th over a thousand times already.

I’m expecting to hear a lot of this from the guy who claims to have the best memory ever, ever. That is, if his lawyers can’t keep him from speaking at any of his trials.

Doesn’t the fifth amendment protect against what he tried to do to that elderly widow all those years ago, where he tried to take her home from her so he could build a parking garage there?

I don’t believe pleading the fifth in court will help the defendant when there is copious videos and audio tapes of the defendant admitting to his crimes – he really is the key witness for the prosecution- the man can not seem to stop implicating himself
