Traditionally sewers emptied into the sea, so yeah you may be standing in toothpaste drool

One Petey is all the world really needs.

Years ago we visited a city in Mexico and our hotel had a beach on the ocean. There was a “stream” coming from the hotel next door which went into the ocean. As my brother and I were contemplating its meaning, my father sternly warned us “not to step in that stream!”

You know a comic strip has arrived when it becomes self-referential.
