years ago all us kids and families would go to mom’s for Easter dinner, mom would tell us what time but would tell one of my sisters a hour earlier so she wouldn’t be too late.
I am so conditioned by my sport (Eventing, disqualified and eliminated, and loss of significant cash, if late to one’s assigned test time) I am hardly ever late anywhere except to sleep.
Considering the fact that I finish everything at the last minute regardless of when I start, it almost seems like a waste of time to start too far in advance!

My sister was born 44 days late, and she’s been that late ever since.

I work better under pressure. That’s my story anyway. Or my deepest hope.

I never forget that being on time means getting there at the appointed hour. Meeting at 8 means at 8 of the clock. Not 7:59 or earlier.

I have a t-shirt with that written on it. I often wear it to meetings and choir practice.
