Selective hearing is not merely a canine problem; it seems to affect teenagers quite severely as well at times.
This is like a Midjourney prompt.
With the weather we’ve been having, I wouldn’t be adverse to the dog being in the pool…she might even get a chance to practice her dog paddle…
With the weather we’ve been having in the UK, the pool would be full, but no-one would want to jump in it. I know the UK is known for a fair bit of rain, but this summer is taking the micky
Dogs do understand the word Noooo!
If you can’t share the pool with your dog, who can you share it with?
Maybe if he had said something about giving the dog a bath.
My neighbors have a wading pool for their dog.
It is surprising how often people mishear things to make them into what they want to hear. Why not dogs, who are new to the language?
For some reason I can imagine swapping out Wally with Norm and most of the situations this week would still work.
A very different reaction when you say bath time.
