my wife tolerated my hobbies, and i thoroughly enjoyed hers—what made her happy made me happy. lynn’s was a 2 way street she never learned to drive.

For me, the idyllic beauty of nature is perfect for raising my spirits. That’s why I created an indoor garden with dolls, statuettes, plus flowers and trees (albeit fake ones, mostly purchased from Amazon) in my brother’s house. Unfortunately, brother does not not share my feelings.

I love the beauty of nature. I love to set on the rear deck and look out across the countryside.

Ahh, double entendre. I love comic jokes about 3-year-old kids who use double entendre but they don’t even know what double entendre means.

Yes, some days he’s a “good catch”, other days, Elly is throwing something at the back of his head (although the domestic violence that was originally there has been edited out for the re-run).

“Daddy”? I thought that was Connie.

That there is a solid earned hug. We don’t do that enough these days.

Soon she’ll start breaking windows

Nice job Dad. It is a growing step for both Michael and Elly.

John has nice taste in floral arrangements. Although I’m generally a fan of Elly’s, HER decor choices make me wince.

John playing with his kid, being nice to Elly and getting affection in return. Nice!

I like the way Elly is so shocked by the flowers that she tilts her body to her left in the first 3 panels. I get the feeling the hug in the last panel is so she can regain her balance.

At least the US and Canada have baseball in common…Also most central American countries and Cuba…Except for Japan it seems to be pretty much a North American sport.

I got bored yesterday and read about a year ahead. No spoilers here, but we’re in for a bumpy ride.

Speaking of flowers, yesterday my wife told me about a friend of hers who was a store owner. When she got flowers from her husband, she would sell them for money! Unbelievable.

Elly is sad that her children are not as dependent on her as they used to be.

Then again, it is good that Michael no longer wears a diaper and ate his most recent meal without needing to be spoonfed.
