I underestimated Skinamarink because folks told me “it’s just 90 minutes of staring at static images.” To me, that was the scariest 90 minutes in my life. They LIED to me!
Big baby!!! I’ve seen EVERY “Saw” movie! To be fair though, the HORRIFIC, GRISLY MUTILATION looks VERY fake. Still not for the faint of heart though. (I think it was the second one where a guy’s headgear trap opened his mouth ALL THE WAY TO THE BACK OF HIS NECK!!!)
Okay, unrelated question: Does anybody who DOESN’T live in a comic strip actually eat their sandwiches whole, and not cut into halves or quarters? (Not including subs!)
I’m laughing my head off as this franchise is based off Friday the 13th (and like so many pastiches throwing Texas chainsaw massacre in there) .. where the first film is not great (Minus the villian, her acting is top notch).

Gene is more likely too old for it. Those are really targeting the 18-25 demographic not 25-40.

You got ‘lucky’, Gene. I saw Jaws when I was eight.

That still leaves Kevin’s mom. She’s probably still up for this.

Haha. I bet Gene’s gonna have nightmares now..

An hour and a half is kinda short for a horror movie right?
Alys France about 1 year ago
Great. Now Gene can tell the boys he’s changed his mind, and they’ll be off the hook.

Horror movies cannot scare me. Maybe growing up horror cartoons and puppet shows desensitized me to horror films, but I just can’t get into the vibe.

Seems like Kevin and Miles wanted to see it because it was a hot topic at school. FOMO. I wonder if anybody at school had actually seen those movies.

Has she seen it? Seems awfully judgmental.

Gene’s dots-for-eyes. I like that look!

Looks like Gene’s plan is taking some unexpected turns.

I didn’t need to watch Nightmare on Elm street to know that my 8 yr old was ‘too young’ to watch it.
She loves the genre now. I’ve never liked it

My mom is always very careful about the movies we’re exposed to. She would never let us watch a movie that she didn’t know anything about
