I have a coffee maker with a timer. I’ve never even set the clock in it.

The coffee maker did it’s job. Maybe you should be returned.

20 year-old 5-cup Mr Coffee drip basket machine. No clock. Just on/off button. Works twice a day and any other time as needed. Makes good cup. Cost about $20 so the cost benefit ratio improves with age.

Obviously programmed wrong.

Obviously, it’s a fault in the programmer, not the appliance. How is he going to tell her that without her causing him any painful problems?

Definitely an inferior product.

That just mean you’re not intelligent enough to operate this model. Get a percolator.

I prefer my old-fashioned percolator. No moving parts or electronic doo-dads that can break, and I can still make coffee even if the power goes out, since I can light the gas burner with a match if that happens.

Not much of an alarm clock is it?
