I was lucky in one respect. For a lot of other people being born in the wrong place seems to be way up there. Me being born 3-5 years to soon isn’t as bad.
Wrong timer here. Born over the Atlantic instead of small town in central Ontario, orphaned several months later. Might have been a mistake at the time (for Mum to be on a plane in the first place) but I feel that I have benefitted from it moreso than suffered : )

There would have been disadvantages to being born in any age that I can think of. On the whole, being born in the 1950s hasn’t worked out too badly.
Of course, for all I know, waiting until the 2950s might have been a good move, but I’ll never know now.
