My son was nuts over those turtles. The branded clothes at the store were too expensive so my wife made him a ninja turtle sweatshirt knockoff. He loved it. He was probably 6 or 7.

Oh well, ugly sells memoirs.

He thought about a memoir of his teenage years, but found out that “Zits” is already a title in use.

A turtle’s teenage years are probably thirty or forty years long.

So, write about the not pretty. Not pretty people will relate. That’s most of us.

At least he wasn’t Barney!

I imagine teenage wasn’t that pretty for most of us.

I didn’t think my life was interesting until I started telling my daughter about some of the things I’ve done. She’s not the type to patronize either.

I don’t know if I used to be a teenage or a mutant.

Is there a difference?

I’m not sure when the statute of limitations runs out on some stuff I’ve done.
