Oh my god, really? This I hate, this insistence that kids say what YOU want them to say and stick to the program. Gee, Mrs. Godfrey, who could have guessed a kid WOULDN’T be looking forward to it? And while yes, a lot of it Nate brings on himself, lest we forget school has:

1. Chester, who actually beats him up

2. Gina, who no matter how much you like her, Godfrey, constantly belittles Nate and participates in verbal bullying that would be dealt with

3. Kids who make fun of him for existing

4. Coach John and his tyrannical ancient ways

5. A science teacher so old he’s asleep half the time

6. Infamously bad lunches

7. You, who half the time is right to be annoyed, and half the time play favourites and yell at every single infraction. Or did you not use Chester as a threat to get Nate to study?

Hmm, huh, I wonder why Nate isn’t excited. And maybe, instead of getting angry, hook him up with a counselor or a therapist? Try to solve the problem?

3\10, it’s not even funny or fresh, a really generic gag. This arc has gone stale, it started okay but there’s only so much you can get from this premise, it’s so static and predicted. Let me guess, tomorrow he’ll say “oh how I hate her” and get detention outside of school or something.

Nate, just tell her: “It is what it is…”

Don’t ask questions to which you’d rather not hear the honest answer.

I feel like this would be deemed as rude, but okay… Mrs. Godfrey clearing her throat loudly like that, and Nate ignoring Mrs. Godfrey.

Strip rating: 2/10 Nate started it, tho.

You know most kids do not look forward to school and you know Nate is one of those who don’t so why you setting him up?

Looking forward to… some aspects of it. Like weekends.
