Very sad theme/story arc. But perhaps should be brought out. That of kids feeling as if it’s their fault is HUGE, and seldom is worked through. Some spend their entire life feeling inside that they could have done something to make it right.

Hammie, because of Zoe you are wasting valuable suck up points in a useless effort. Points you should be saving for when you are just being you.

What’s with Zoe’s head slap? She told Hammie to be sweet and he is. Wanda however will now wonder what’s going on and Zoe’s rumor will be revealed.

Regrettably when parents separate for reasons totally unrelated to the children; the children may well believe they themselves are at fault.

All based on a misunderstanding though, the split up just meant going to different venues with the kids, not separating as a couple. Obvious to most, but not perhaps if you just started reading the strip.
