I’ve begun to think that house insurance is a holdover from the 19th century, when heating was done by fireplaces and lighting provided by candles and oil lamps, unless you live in an area prone to tornadoes or flooding.
Not only are premiums going up, many companies are moving away from a set deductible to one that is a percentage of value of the property. As in, no more $1,500 on the house, it’s 1% of the $500,000 rebuild value, $5,000.

If you call this place a huge mansion, then yes, we can move into a smaller big mansion.

If I ever won the lottery, I wouldn’t move into a mansion. I’m a bachelor, I don’t need a home that large. A nice, suburban home will do.

I’d read the subatomic print first, especially in certain parts of the world.

“That’s called winning the lottery.”
I’d be pleased to win a littlery.

Nope, Gracie. You are more likely to discover the Insurance will barely pay for a Single Wide.
