Modelo is OK, but I’ll have a Pilsner Urquell. ;)

Is Modelo not “Woke” like Bud Lite? Or is Modelo “Woke” but in Spanish and nobody knows it actually means “Woke”?

I gather aluminum cans on my morning walks and see a lot of Modelo cans

Modelo is a better tasting beer, and they don’t have an idiot for marketing.

I bought a six pack of Corona as a gag back in 2021 and it has become my favorite. Corona Familiar when I can find it.

I like variety in tastes. (However, I don’t like every variety.)

I’ll never forget those beers ads for, I think it was, Spinmeister Beer. Apparently they could not get enough people to say their beer tasted better, so they had to go with “more flavor” in their ads. Of course, it was a terrible flavor but technically it was still more flavorful than others. :)

Please don’t identify the beer. They don’t deserve the ink.

I recall the tall tale about a brewery (which I’ll call Gold Medal) that was looking for a good slogan, so they held a contest and eventually determined that the winning submission was “Gold Medal brew is like love in a canoe”. So they got to the part of the ceremony where they were getting set to hand the check to the winner when some company official asked him how he managed to come up with such a sweet analogy and promptly wished he hadn’t, because the response was “because it’s like fücking close to water.”

It makes good beer bread as well, but I love Guinness for that. Modelo Negra is good for that as well.
