My husband always cut, burned, scraped, bruised, or smashed his fingers on everything he worked on. Especially his car.

Just rub dirt in it. Better a splash of gasoline or diesel.

A real plugger wipes the blood off with a shop rag and keeps going.

They don’t call a crescent wrench a knuckle buster for nothing.

Plugger cat would rather fix a thing than be the one who got fixed (unless he didn’t want to have little pluggers scampering around, in which case getting snipped was a smart move).

I keep a kit in the garage and the house an EMT med kit in the truck and multiple fire extinguishers. I buy band aids by the case, those get used in quantity

Always include a tube of military wound seal and suture kit to avoid an emergency room visit.

I’ve always told my wife that the sign that I’ve done a good job is if I bleed.

bleeding cleanses the wound and electrical tape works as a band aid until the job is done. When I cut the tip of my thumb off I stopped the bleeding and waited an hour before my wife came home and convinced me to go to the e.r.
