Saw it in a theater when it came out. I wasn’t scared. I think Hitchcock made some much better movies. As a Bay Area native I appreciated the location.
To make it scarier, the story and movie are based of a true incident of seagulls mobbing the people of a town. The birds were suffering food poisoning.
