I like to start with words with three vowels like arise. the hardest are words that repeat a letter, like fuzzy

“Okra” is a good word when playing 4 letter Word Mastermind in-the-head.

Do not try “aglet” for your first word. It’s not in the official wordle word list.

I just start with “AUDIO”. I got it in one a couple of weeks ago

“FUZZY” is actually among the worst openings, ever in wordle.

I got the list of letter frequency online and found 4 words with the most often used. Always start with the same word. The order of other 3 depends. The worst are when you have 4 letters in order but their are 4 choices for the 5th!! Stare, spare, share, scare for example!!

Watch the word be FUZZY.

But seriously, as I said yesterday, that is one of the worst guesses possible.

“ATONE.” 5 of the 6 most common letters. (N is sixth; I is fifth.)

I always use “audio” as my opening word. Narrows down the vowels.

Chad is literally the best character.

I mean, Chad’s not wrong. “fuzzy” DOES have two vowels (technically speaking at least, due to the “y”) and it DOES have three consonants.

The letters may be very uncommon, but he DID meet the requirements. Good job Chad.

Arose is my start word

Actually, I could see the NY Times using that word.

Mine are “arise” and “flout”. Covers all five vowels and several common letters in the first two guesses. I almost always get the word by guess four.

I always choose a word with 3 vowels to start, like “adore” or “mouse”.

My first word is always “slate.” The Wordlebot says it’s the guess of a Wordle genius and gives it a score of 99.
