Resistance is necessary!

Ohm my god.

I can’t think of why an electician would care about an ohm! Unless he was HVAC or electronics repair. Different trades. I wired and rewired homes and never gave ohms a thought

With the hourly wage and near impossibility to get one to answer their business phone in my area I have had to learn some basic DIY stuff which I had resisted for years (no pun intended).

On the good side, I have saved money AND am still alive.

For a Faraday’s work, he would Maxwell.

I didn’t notice the spelling at first, and thought it was going to be about Eastern meditation.

Many years ago, I swapped out an electric stovetop. I shut the breaker, made the swap and, just for fun, turned it on. It worked. I had shut the wrong breaker and was working with live 220. I not only lived, but everyone commented on my new curly hair.

This was the title of a tune by Kraftwerk. That’s not a joke, it really was, on their 1975 album RADIO-ACTIVITY.

Seeing it every day gives him a jolt.
