Many years ago when I got access to a Computer Assisted Drafting system for the first time, I created a recursive matchbook cover for a non-existent “Famous Matchbook Artists” college.
“If you can draw this matchbook, you may be a famous matchbook artist.”
The cover of the matchbook contained the above text with a smaller square that contained an image of the full cover. Inside that square … etc
We distributed about 200 of them from a tobacco booth at the Southern Renaissance Pleasure Faire. I always wonder if some of them still lead a meta existence somewhere. :)
