Bats actually taste like rancid potato salad mixed with strawberry Skittles. I know this from personal experience.

She’ll grow into “loving” mayonnaise like all red-blooded Americans.

I love how Madeleine can improvise for her children. She is such a fun lady!

Oh but you’ve never MIXED the cough syrup and mayonnaise.

Ozzy said it tasted like a warm goopy liquid and tasted horrible.

Actually it tastes like chicken. Because everything tastes like chicken.

No, I do not know what bat really tastes like but according to “The Matrix”; chicken is the default flavor for anything humans do not commonly eat.

I like the taste of cough syrup. When I was young, I’d ask for more cough syrup when I was given it for a cold. I still like cough drops so much that one time I started eating them like candy, gave it up because I thought it would be harmful to do on a regular basis. Now mayonnaise… UGH!

Madeline… she’s amazing ☺

Madeline is a parent after my own heart. I used to tell my nieces and nephews stuff like this all the time.

BTW, Alice, if you eat a bat cupcake, does that make you a cannibal, or only if you have your costume on?

And Madeline says it all with a straight face (mostly). Just as well, since it calms Alice.

(But it must be acknowledged that some cough syrups taste good: Alice must not be being given the tasty kind!)
