Hereâs a crazy idea Andy: Cook beef stew for the family and tofu lasagna for you. Everybody winsâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠ.sigh, whoâm I kidding? This woman is a militant vegetarian. The worst kind of vegetarianâŠ..
My wife and I had to âadjustâ to our eating habits when we started out â she grew up on a farm and dined on beef seven days a week â twice a day (lunch and dinner). I grew up on a farm with a father who had served in the military and spent time overseas â he experienced the variety of foods and introduced them at home â so we learned to enjoy many things. I brought that lifestyle with me, and although it took awhile, our meals migrated to a variety of dishes that we both enjoy â and we try to be health conscious in our choicesâŠ
I can at least imagine beef stew without the beef, but what would pork sausages without the pork even look like? A limp sausage skin with a sprinkle of spice?
Not until now did I feel the need to thank my mother for feeding us reasonably healthful meals when we were growing up that also appealed to our taste buds.

Why would you put tofu in lasagna when there are perfectly good veggies sitting around waiting to be used?

Roger, your neighborhood convenience store (7-11?) usually has pull tab cans of food, paper cups and a microwave to cook in. Just go for a walk.
