We didn’t rake – the leaf covering holds in the moisture for the winter and helps the grass…

Easy choice!

What leaves? From the looks of it, raking the lawn AND sweeping the driveway will take < 10 minutes. On the other hand, cleaning the garage will take about 3 weekends.

Where is the car Baldo is working on? I thought it was on blocks in the driveway.

Raking the leaves is much easier. You don’t have to make any decisions about what to do with things, and you know when you are done with the job.

I don’t think I’ve seen a rake in 20+ years in Los Angeles. On the other hand, you cannot go outside for more than 5-minutes without a leaf blower (or 5) piercing the silence.

smart boy. we’re in the process of cleaning out all the abandoned junk in the hovel next to our veggie patches and sometimes (often) i wish i could just light a match and watch the place burn…

I understand Baldo’s dilemma.

I avoid both because my Blood Pressure reminds me not to overdo it.

How to get your kids to do a chore: give them a choice between that and a more disagreeable chore. :-)
