I’m waiting to see this bad Eunice that Dana apparently hated so much. From what I recall, she was a tough but kind-hearted woman who succeeded in a field where women do not often compete. Dana, back then, came off as a spoiled brat and this arc – particulary this strip – reminds me of that.

A person with power and other resources will act differently from a person without the resources to change the situation.
Come to think of it, this is probably why rioters, gangs, and other mobs are often so bloody. They possess the power of the group.
Both mother and daughter seem to have used their power for good as they saw it.
