Refills was the only way I could justify the high price soda machine prices vs buying a case or six-pack

Shouldn’t need one!

Hamburgers out is outrageously expensive for what you get. Winners cook at home.

All our fast-food restaurants and staff canteens have had to remove their refill-dispensers, because of the dangers to health and of obesity…

But he’s still thirsty.

Self serve soda machines make the customers think they’re getting more even though they’re not getting a full measure of syrup. KA-CHING!

maybe they got tired of the whole free refill thing. I’m worried the other shops will follow suit one day. :p

I’m surprised they got his original order correct in the first place. My other thought would be that they finally have to hire counter help that is so desperately needed what with on line orders, kiosks, codes & the like that removes most of the human element from the sale.

I know McDonalds is removing the refill dispensers that’s why I prefer going to Costco food court

Saw something recently that cited how filthy and germ-ridden drink dispensers are, inside and out. I never did like them much, now I’ll stick to bottled, thanks.

One of those few benefits of Covid for some businesses. I’m afraid that there are many of us Born Losers in that same boat…..

Supposedly, McDonalds will stop the self-serve beverages in 2024. No idea if they will also stop free refills.
