Must be a top loader…guess I missed out when I was a kid, mum only ever had the front loaders…

I came here to say it’s a good thing he didn’t try that with a front loader. Then I saw Gizmo Cat’s post, which only reinforced my belief.

I was NOT expecting that.

Takes two to balance the load on the spin cycle…I heard.

When I was a kid, the family across the street got a front loader. Tom HAD to try it for size. It was a project getting him out.

only EDDIE would have that much fun with the washing machine…

At least he got clean…

I may have told this before, but – you know how when the washer is in spin & you lift the lid, it stops?

I’m why.

5 years old, I climb up & am watching it spin; thinks I, “Well, if you put a baseball card in your spokes, it makes a cool sound; I bet I could that if I stuck my foot in the agitator!”

Left leg, tibia & fibula, 1" below the knee. 62 years later, it’s still not straight.

Which makes me lucky; those were the days of the Space Race, and I recall hearing of a few kids playing astronaut by getting in the dryer & having someone turn it on – to lethal effect.

And then your Mom tosses you in the dryer, for the slow ride.

It ought to be a crime to Launder funny!
