Sounds like a lot of tofoolery.

They’re totally messing with her.

A peanut butter and jelly sandwich sounds good instead of what’s on the menu! Yuck!

Lola is a grown woman. If she wants a turkey, she can cook one herself! The grandson would appreciate that, I’m sure.

This is why there are restaurants…

Tofurkey and mashed cauliflower. Wrong all the way around.

Time for a senior’s home Lola. They serve REAL food there.

Sister made Turducken one year…..I stayed home…..

I don’t deny that things taste different to different people, but it’s very hard not to believe that, some of the time when people say that certain things taste good to them, they are just flat out lying.

Get a turkey thigh and roast it for Lola so she will be happy.

Come to my house Lola, I will cook the real thing. Thank God I have a soy intolerance!

Well, Lola, maybe they are serving real turkey at the senior center.

Another reason not to live with your kids, if your kids are that weird. My kids love real meat, real gravy, real sweet potatoes with brown sugar and marshmallows, real cauliflower and cheese casserole, real green beans and bacon, real pumpkin pie, real Shoofly pie made with molasses like it should be, spiral turkey, etc. In fact when we go their houses they love it when we cook.

I’m guessing tofurkey tastes something like soylent green…or red…

She has only her self to blame. She raised them.

Tofurkey with dressing, covered with veg gravy and cranberry sauce, mixed veg on the side, is actually pretty good. My omnivorous husband shares it with me and we both lie down afterwards to digest a good meal. No nasty comments just because you haven’t tried it. I quit eating meat in 1972 (and always thought turkey was pretty dry).

eat what you want but quit calling things what they are not. turkey is a bird, not a plant
