Those medicine bottles remind me of that Jimmy Fallon bit called “Tonight show sponsors”. Very funny!

I suggest finding another doctor soon. I mean right now, don’t wait. We want you around for a long time to come. :o)

“We’ve ruled out the typical problem, so our work here is done” – - what the hell? How about figuring out the problem, doctor?? How awful… and so hard to protest when you are so sick!

I would have been very surprised if it was your gallbladder. The debilitating pain is spot on, but I didn’t puke at all when mine was swollen to twice the normal size with stones and pus.

I have many family members in Southern California who are at the mercy of Kaiser care. This story is chilling. I’m relieved they didn’t kill Big Al.

ER doc? If you’re not in danger of immanent death, they do that. Even Kaiser has good doctors. Unfortunately you have to spin the big doctor wheel, maybe more than once, before you get the right one. And it’s worth it.I hope there’s an ending here :( even if not a totally happy one.

NO!!! It’s got to be something. So what if the hypo biliary scan didn’t show anything? DO better doc!

I agree with @tims45 Keep knocking down doors until you find a doctor who listens. Not this misogynistic excuse for a medical professional.

Every time I heard a story where someone was sent home sick like this, it didn’t end well.

Otis, our late cat, took ondansetron daily for the last couple of years of his life. He didn’t comment on how well it worked.

They still don’t know what the pain in my lower left abdomen is. And the worst part is that I can’t spell abdomen. 2 ER visits in a month, liver enzymes nuts, weak left thigh made me fall, sprained my ankle and, fortunately for me I have amnesia of when I was vomiting. Google transient global amnesia. Still waiting for those 5 MRIs. But no pain like what you’re having. I feel for ya.

Find a good woman internist. I’m sure there are some fine men who are doctors but many dismiss women’s illnesses. Prayers for healing!

Ugh. Doctors. Well, some doctors. I ‘fired’ mine recently because my allergies were so bad this year I could not breath. And I kept getting ear infections too. I asked him what I could do to breath, specifically at night as one night was so bad I actually considered calling an ambulance. His answer? Lose Weight.

Admittedly I am a bit over weight, but not to the point it will affect my breathing! Allergies aside I regularly backpack in the backcountry, and let me tell you no matter how many ‘lightweight’ supplies you buy, by the time you hit mile 5 they weigh a ton!

I took my size 12 (American) fat @ss out of there and found a doctor at a clinic who prescribed me steroids to help me breath.

Have been down this road — you need a second opinion, and it should include a full torso CT scan. Chugging the barium contrast solution should give you a whole new bunch of non-barfing but definitely gross ideas for your strip!

From left to right, drugs One and Three might help, but I’d avoid Two if possible, it’s just a painkiller. And you still need your illness diagnosed, not just possibilities ruled out.
