Got motivated this year. 1200 lights and 3 projectors. Looks great.

Music in my car is all Christmas; tree goes up this week; and all the gifts are bought and just need to be wrapped after the tree is up. I’m ready…..

I find the mutual conjoining of two extension cords symbolic of their entire relationship.

I stopped putting a lot of lights up a couple of years ago. My sons were happy to help put them up but started missing taking them down so I have opted for a more simple setting.

Glad it’s Finally DECEMBER… Lights and Christmas trees during the week of Thanksgiving @ Nov 23rd is absurd! SMH

It sure is! Christmas tree by the fireplace and Nochebuenas (no, they are NOT Pointsettias) gracing my front door. I love this season.

The problem is that in January it all comes down and everything is dark and cold and gray. Maybe snow, maybe not (DC area).

I spent a few hours this morning stringing lights. I decided from now on not to put up anything that requires a ladder, similar to the Day’s display (you could get the doorframe with a step stool). My birthday is Christmas Eve, I’ll be 70 years old.

Decorations can always be packed up and taken with you, or new decorations of change. But a chance to be closer to the kids and possible grand kids, is decorations that live forever.

The little lights aren’t twinkling, Clarke.
