It’s amazing that Martin has a girlfriend. His lack of hygiene and his bad manners would turn most girls off. I don’t think I’d like to meet his girlfriend.

Not sure if a Pop Tart is okay for dogs. Maybe a package-ful of Beggin’ Strips, instead? Or better yet, do they still make Gaines Burgers?

The boys are living large!

As kids, we often made popcorn when it was just us at home.

No left over pie or desert treats?

The first thing I thought of after reading Red and Rover today is the fact that I was never left alone as a child! Funny, huh?

I crumble for ya

Only two…..

I’m always left befuddled by cartoon time: the station wagon is a 1958-era model (front end of a Ford, rear of a Dodge), but Pop-Tarts weren’t in wide circulation until 1964. Oh well, a boy and his dog are timeless.

The car is a little reminiscent of a 1959 Plymouth.

When we were left alone, my older sister would give me money to buy say a can of peas. Then she let her boyfriend in while I was gone. Mom and Dad had no idea.

They’re using an actual trademark for once.

Red ….. You and Rover have it made ….. Pop Tarts and TV …… and each other …. can’t get better then that ….. :)

Panel 1: “Christine’s” cousin, a station wagon?!

They’ve left Red “home alone?!” Guess they’re off to get the Christmas presents and of course, can’t allow R to see.

One question — why are Mom and Dad off to the mall? Is the WiFi down?
