Back in the day, I had a Palm Pilot for work, and I don’t recall it being very complicated. When I was at the office, I’d just work on my computer and then sync it to the PP for later work if I needed it. Those were the days when we weren’t expected to do much work remotely, unlike now.
Hello Cathy friends! Happy Monday! Happy MLK Day to those who celebrate, although MLK Jr did so much to further humankind that I think everyone recognizes his achievements. Have a great day, all, and do something kind in honor of MLK. ❤️
The basic problem with the PDA was input/output. Typing on one was torture for anyone used to a real keyboard. These were not Internet-capable phone devices. Even connecting one to a printer could be a major effort. I was doing freelance IT support during this time period and saw it all.

Computers were supposed to give us the “paperless office”, but people use more paper now than they did before they got computers.

OK—I was close on this one. I expected all the papers to be the owner/user manual for the handheld computer. Almost …
Nice that all the bins start with “RE”, too, isn’t it?
