This reminds me of a story from an old IT support Newsgroup (Remember those?) where a shop in Mall was selling modems with the slogan “All you need to get on the Internet.” So this IT support guy goes to this customer’s house to see what’s wrong with the set up, and discovers the guy had no computer, just the modem.

The manual Cathy has is called “EZ Set UP”. They probably assumed the customer would be a systems administrator when they gave it that title.

And this is one of the reasons that many like Apple products. They are pretty easy to use and set up.
