When my wife was with me, I loved carrying her purse for her. I don’t know why she had so much stuff in it, but it wheighed a ton, and she lost her breath after walking a half block or so. I think she needed about 3 percent of everything she had in that purse on any given day.
That happened to me with yard work the other day. I was just going to go outside and do a couple of things, and ended up spending the whole afternoon cleaning up the yard and transplanting plants. It’s hard to stop once I get started, so I empathize with Cathy.
It’s a great thing to be organized, and to declutter, get rid of the junk you don’t need. It’s great to have a place for everything and everything in its place so you can find it easily and not have to dig through everything to find what you need. I like having outside pockets on my purses so it’s easy to grab a pen or sunglasses or a hanky if I need it.
Sounds like a good problem to have! However, I disagree with Charlene that there’s no turning back. I have strong faith in Cathy to get back to her usual unorganized self. You can do it, Cathy! ;-)
Hello Cathy friends! Happy Wednesday! Have a great day, all!
Yes, men don’t usually carry purses. They dump everything into their girlfriend’s purse, until she gets smart and starts carrying a smaller one. (True story from when my hubby and I were first dating. When I realized I was walking lopsided from the weight I got a smaller purse. Hubby to be decided he didn’t really need all that stuff and quit bringing it along.)
Oh ….. the absolute HORROR of having a clean and organized purse and house so that you can quickly and easily find whatever you need, whenever you need it! (◔_◔)

Hi, rgcviper! :-)

Hello and Happy Wednesday, fellow “Cathy” fans. Hope you all have/had a really nice day today! ♥
I have back problems, so I have to carry essentials in a “fanny pack” instead of a backpack like I used to do. The signal to clean out the fanny pack is when I cannot lift it without pain. Thank God, men don’t have to carry makeup. :)
(I have to periodically remind people that the “smiley” indicates it is a joke and not to be taken seriously.)

Of course men hand everything to their wife to “put in their purse!”

A vicious cycle, isn’t it?
Hey—wonder if she found an (◔_◔) … or four … in that clean purse of hers.
HI, MOM. Hello, Clan.
