Change that name on the red shirt to “Rethugican Dogwhistler”. Much better fit and description of the party that took Joseph Goebbel’s playbook to heart.

And yet it’s the RW that’s trying to cancel books and classes in libraries and schools. Talk about gaslighting and projection!

You’ve got to know when to hold ’em

    Know when to fold ’em

    Know when to walk away

    And know when to run

    You never count your money

When you’re sittin’ at the table

There’ll be time enough for countin’

    When the dealin’s done

Lee Atwater, advisor to Ronald Reagan and George W. Bush, chairman of the Republican National Committee, explaining the Southern Strategy: Y’all don’t quote me on this. You start out in 1954 by saying, “the N-word”. By 1968, you can’t say “the N-word”—that hurts you. Backfires. So you say stuff like forced busing, states’ rights and all that stuff. You’re getting so abstract now [that] you’re talking about cutting taxes, and all these things you’re talking about are totally economic things and a byproduct of them is [that] blacks get hurt worse than whites. And subconsciously maybe that is part of it. I’m not saying that. But I’m saying that if it is getting that abstract, and that coded, that we are doing away with the racial problem one way or the other. You follow me—because obviously sitting around saying, “We want to cut this”, is much more abstract than even the busing thing, and a hell of a lot more abstract than “the N-word”. So, any way you look at it, race is coming on the back-burner. Wikipedia

Sure. Make this a focus of your 2024 campaign, GOP. Certainly, in your minds, a winning “hand”. Just don’t expect winning over anyone new to your cause.

Speaking of a losing hand, did you see this story today? Google this headline then ask yourself, “Is this why we see countries making moves (like Russia in Ukraine, China soon to get into Taiwan, Iran proxies attacking U.S. soldiers in the middle east 45 times in the last 2 months)”. They don’t fear the U.S. anymore and who can blame them with Barney Fife running the jailhouse. Headline – “Disoriented Biden needs help from Arlington honor guard during solemn wreath-laying ceremony”.

Leftists have played the race card for decades, nothing new there. Newer is the woke card. Google “non binary person traffic stop,” where a self-proclaimed non-binary, indigenous person with “generational trauma,” who is triggered by white males spews out every woke excuse to try to get out a drunk driving arrest. Their newest victim card is the Palestinian/Hamas card.

The “race card” was very much in play in the wild west. There were active plans to eliminate the Native American either directly by killing them directly or starving them to death in ghettos aka reservations by killing off the buffalo. In many of the states/territories Afro Americans/Mexicans/Chinese were banned and lynched if they did enter the territory. During this time republicans dominated the government. Wilson was a racist but so was republican Teddy Roosevelt who advocated a final solution for Native Americans.

Change the race card into prostrife and see how much that wins. Prohibition, anyone?

If pointing out racial disparity is “playing the race card,” then I am proudly guilty. I will never remain silent when I see anyone being treated differently because of their race, religion, or who they are.

Since a lot of us do not live in a state that had elections this past Tuesday, we have not seen the latest “Card”, the “Abortion Card” that will be playing in every state over the next year of primary and presidential elections.

The “feeble minded” are the conservatives who instigate racism and then claim the race card being played. They can only fool the feeble minded.

And yet, it is the GOP that is doing all they can to destroy what the US is and to reverse what the voters keep saying, and are preparing to turn the USA into a dictatorship. Literally. We are better off when we are educated, have autonomy, and stop letting the rich cheat the rest of us.

Complete fail. BTW, If you had labeled the Hamas figure with his name as well as Hamas in the toon withdrawn by the Post, it probably wouldn’t have caused an uproar. It was an accurate caricature of Ghazi Hamad.
