In Wizard of Id, the servants have a hard time shooting the turkey, so the king called it “Impossible Turkey” because it is impossible for them to shoot it. And now I know where the turkey is at.

It’s a TERRIBLE hangout for introverts. No internet access or WiFi.

Until it turns out that this is not actually a set of vines with thorns but rather a rare species of snake-eating snake….

Turkey Lives Matter!

Would have been a good hangout during the pandemic.

I have a rose bush just outside my front door. for several years a paid or cardinals would roost there in the spring, the walls of the house gave shelter on several side, the porch gave a roof over head for weather and hawks and the roses’ thorns kept away ground predators, the perfect place to raise their chicks. the only problem was two huge human things that would go in and out of the door scaring them form the nest. we learned to use the garage for a few weeks while they raised their young.

Snake should be a little wary as turkeys are known to kill them on sight. In this case it might be on site.

Anybody remember the BC Thanksgiving special from the earl ‘70s? Still on YouTube I think. All about the turkey.

When I went to V.P.I, now known as Va. Tech, I saw a billboard depicting a turkey as the “Fighting Gobblers”. I almost passed out with laughter. Now they call it the “Hokie Bird”.

Worth the effort for non-GMO drumsticks.
