Now is not the time for thinking! Now is the time for blind panic! Are you with me?

Claustrophobic, no not here. No walls I see, no walls I fear. The tensions build, though doom might come. My fear right here, I cannot run!

Terrance has had his blind panic moment, and now the scientist is stepping up with his analytical mind working on the problem. So, was the SNAP not necessarily Eden disappearing, but the walls closing in on where they currently are? I thought they were in a tunnel in a stable reality and completely out of the Eden “pocket reality”. Maybe not.

Time for teamwork, guys and gal!

If it’s a matter of walls, should it be up to Wally?

Time for that zero knife Terrance – see if you can whittle an opening in the opaque thing covering the walls & tunnel exit

Invisible walls look like dittos. It’s used dittos in the past. Wally should still be able to control them.

The walls might appear invisible to Terrance, and he might think he is talking with Wally and Duffy. ………however……Do they see him or just a snapped wall? They don’t seem to be reacting to him, and they might think they just witnessed his “death” in the SNAP……….but maybe he and hopefully Alan still exist albeit unseen to the group. just a thought that could be debunked in the coming strips…..or not

Now would be a good idea to just poke that eye big time. Words won’t move but deeds might….now if they can find a stick……or create some dust and dander by shaking…… make the other’s eye water.

Terrance called it “The Entity”. I think that most folks in the Endtown plane- mostTopsiders and anthros-are unaware of the existence of “Eye”. But the Topsiders involved in the Eden project know a lot more about what’s going on, and have generated their own dimensional distortion machinery. Since they’ve created major weak points in reality, The Eye has shown up to try to break through. So, this group of Topsiders have met The Entity. Dr. Amesworth was an administrator (if not the Director) of the project, and was able to fill Wally (and us) in about the nature of the project, and their theories on the nature of The Eye. You can go to 02/21/2020 for a refresher. A strip or two later she mentions a possessed subject having “terrifying psychokinetic powers”. So it apparently doesn’t need dittos to make things happen.

Snapping the walls does make sense. It’s a timeline of events during construction, now going in accelerated reverse, after all. The stairway down/up just had some work done on it for some reason. Smoother walls, some electrical wiring, etc, who knows? Just some non-critical finishing work in between the expansion of the rest of the colony. We don’t know when the ‘tunnel’ vanishes, but it doesn’t have to vanish completely. The gang has to be standing in the right place to get snapped, that’s all.
