We deserve these naps! We have been around – been there and done that… As long as the young people today don’t care to learn from what we learned in our years… then we could have saved their generation from the insanity of today. zzzzzzzzzzz let them think they will fix it!
As of yesterday (Jan 1) all the Christmas decorations are finally up except for my Christmas village of bears – which is half way up as I never finished taking it down last year. I WILL get it finished. It has been that kind of year.
We volunteer with our reenactment unit at the local restored village – we take over the only house set in “our” period (1770s) and treat it as if there is holiday party going on and all are guests, which is most of our holiday. Event was suppose to be for 7 days this year. The three days before Christmas all went well. The 4 days this past week – only one day came off due to heavy rain on the second day of the week they were to be open and they had to close, day after it was still too muddy for the public to come. By then we were down to just the two of us and it takes at least 3-4 people to do the job right, so we had to cancel on them. For husband and myself this event is our holiday celebration so we did not have a good holiday this year.

If you are a Plugger and getting a new mattress as a holiday gift… then your present — of horizontality — really is under the tree.

Hard to tell, but if that plugger is a bear, this could be a loooong winter’s nap!
