I love fruitcake! I have always loved fruitcake! There, I said it. Some is better than others, though.

I’ll have you know I make a very nice fruitcake. My grown grandson ate his way through the two I kept back for myself, and now I need to get more ingredients and make more!

Mmmm, cake monster. [gurgle]

A delicious, Frankenstein-like (That is so wrong…) cake monster.

My family loves fruitcake, too. Husband just received (via UPS) his Collin Street Bakery fruitcake from his sister. Collin Street IS the best.

Decades ago, in Omni Magazine, author David Gerrold listed some amusing observations. One of them was that there is only one fruitcake, and it keeps getting mailed from one person to another because nobody wants to eat it.

Fruitcake is a doorstop. My mom & one of my bros love the stuff. I don’t know how they can stand it – just THINKING about it makes my teeth hurt!

The perfect re-gift. Much pointless Christmas spending could be saved by universal re-gifting of fruit cakes.
