Does she really need her glasses (especially if she can read from that distance)?

Do her arms extend (and shorten) or are they just that long (all the time)? Can she bend her arms? Does she have elbows?

I saw my son-in-law yesterday reading his phone at arm’s length and my daughter said that he’s realized that he’ll be needing glasses soon if not now!
