Iām counting on Wallace to say the right thing as he points to the treeless stumpsā¦ āIf people keep doing this, how will this forest look when I have kids of my own?ā
Decorate that tree to the hilt, power it āsomehowā and admire it from your warm home, because surely you, all of Snug Harbor, will be able to see it as well. Plus it will be nice for the local Big Foot population to gather around.
Saw a program on PBS about tree for US Capital the other night. Learned that permits are available for members of the public to cut a tree in National Forests. But this tree is too big for US Forest Serviceās Christmas tree guidelines for trees from National Forests ā āSelect a tree with a trunk six inches or less in diameter, * Never cut a tall tree just for the top.ā Tree for Capital was larger, but they used two cranes to load Capitalās tree onto flatbed truck. Donāt think Mom has that equipment ā Dad sure doesnāt.

Sterling is fantasizing about eating all of the squirrels in the tree, while Wallace wonders if Bigfoot is hiding behind it.
