I am so with you Will. Wish you would also have access to smack politicians, not only you careful people in the shelter. But they might still buy products which are not free of animalhtested things.
Testing products on animals should be kept to a minimum.
BUT
There must still be some.
Think about it. If I ask somebody if their product is safe if my pet gets into it, and they tell me, “I have no idea. We’ve never tested it on animals.” I’m not going to purchase that product, no matter how safe they say it is for humans.
When they test products on dogs, they use beagles. Beagles are used and people get paid to breed them because beagles are very sweet, gentle, and tolerant. They end up their entire lives in crates, never once seeing the outdoors or touching grass or getting real sunlight. Then, after being abused by whatever product, possibly painfully given to them by injection, they are usually killed. Still no real life experiences. These dogs can often be given to homes, where they can learn to be real dogs and love people, which is all they really want in life. Instead, they are killed, while the dogs most likely still love the testing people.

Ackchually, Will, dogs have a very poor idea of what’s bad for them or not.
You eat everything, regardless.

Cute. He’s figured out that a rolled up newspaper works on humans, too.

Not all humans are guilty, and that human has the hand that feeds you. But I get the message.
