One person’s terrorist is another person’s patriotic hero. Hamas came about in 1987 splitting off of the Muslim Brotherhood who lost support after losing a war with Israel in 1967, who have been terrorists and then legalized, supported by many Middle East countries including Saudi Arabia, opposing communism. And it goes back in history further, each built on the previous. The purpose of martyrs is to recruit new potential heroes. Netanyahu is making martyrs.
Gee, we would have accomplished the same thing in Germany and Japan if we hadn’t committed to long-term occupation and nation building. Of course, even that won’t work until Iran is defeated, or at least dissuaded from funding organizations like Hama and Hezbollah.
So, lets get this straight. Hamas raping and killing is a recruitment tool. Hamas using children as hostages is an Hamas recruiting tool, Hamas using human shields in a hospital is a recruiting tool. Reminds me of an old saying, “Heads, I lose, tails, you lose.” So Ted, your cartoon is merely BS. Congratulations.
