Jeff, your use of the term ‘it’ is the key message in your toon. the dehumanization here is key to how this is still happening. I spoke with my contacts in Israel and their message got lost in the reprisal. We are releasing terrorists to allow our children and women torn from their homes and families to hopefully go back to living a healthy and peaceful life. The terrorists, on the other hand, don’t seem to have the same goal in mind upon their release. I was told the below terrorist is cheering: “Put the sword against the sword. We are the men of Muhammad Al-Deif”. If you do not know who that is. He is probably the terrorist with the most blood on his hands. We hug our children and women upon their return home. The other side is chanting for more terrorism. Seems like a simple fight between Light and darkness.
