Ah, a mother’s conundrum. To be happy and sad at the same time that your daughter is such a numbskull.

Well gee, it’s almost as if you shouldn’t leave valuable, easily damaged memorabilia lying around in the open. But then again, this strip ran in, what, 2003? Long before the invention of the picture frame.

I know it’s a comic and everything but Paige has been well aware that Quincy destroys things on a regular basis. Anyone who lives with a pet who has those tendencies protects things of value as a matter of course.

C’mon Mom, no weaseling out! You promised, and you didn’t do anything to be sure you kept your promise!
