    Bald eagles actually nest for the winter near where I work. A local attraction is to watch them from an observation point some distance away.

    Some (a bunch of nasty descriptions) guys killed 3600 eagles to sell feathers!! They and the feather buyers should be pushed out of a plane flying south!!

    Eagles really don’t migrate all that far. They might move to a place with better water and food, but they will stay in their region.

    Here the bald eagles sub species nests in winter, raise their chicks in winter. There is a whole state department as well as the feds to protect them.
