A throwback to how women were often treated up until about a hundred years ago in many parts of the world, and still are in too many. It’s not by any means unique to them, but it is a central tenet to traditional (and contemporary evangelical) christianity that women are: the cause of all humanities trouble (the “original sin”, an evil concept, is all Eve’s fault); only good for producing and raising children; and, should be completely under the dominion of men. It wasn’t that long ago that a man’s women and children were referred to as his chattle, along with the rest of his livestock. And this is what the Talibangelicals want to return us to, whichever religion they use as an excuse.

You mean to tell me that all of these women are forcibly impregnated! We need to stop that.
