Better than a mirror, Marigold?!

I notice that the background colours are indeed changing with each panel again. When someone commented on this recently, I replied that it may have been Marigold’s spell which changed the colours as the last panel had returned the background colour to as it was before Marigold cast her spell. However, it does indeed seem that Dana changes the background colours just to keep the strip colourful.

This feels uncomfortably like someone giving up one drug for another.

Tbh I’ve always wondered what I look like from someone else’s view.
