Cankles: ankles the size of calves… Calves + ankles = Cankles. As long as Brutus doesn’t develop “Thankles*”, he will be fine.

The nerve of the woman! I’d like to see her get into one of her own pair of old jeans from that period.

Gladys’ mother looks like a witch, Gladys might be a vampire so her image doesn’t appear in a mirror. So she doesn’t know she has no room to talk.

I am guessing that in Glady’s family – Cankles rise as high as Neck and Mouth. Always a cutting remark. Gladys and Mother Gargle must be graduates of Cut Em Low Uni.

In my work at the Cokesbury Xn Book Store, now shut down, I’d measure ministers for new clergy robes. They’d often give me the waistline the same as what they had in high school. Of course, that was only true if you dropped down the waist to below his waistline, like the circumference of his thighs. And we could use that measurement, if you didn’t mind having a robe that was too tight. Or we could use the true waistline measurement for a good fit. They usually chose the latter.

Commedians are a dime a dozen. But when ye yourself have cankles, you should keep the big mouth shut. I can’t ever envision her with a Marilyn Monroe figure. However, Brutus will never give a nasty retort and to him she is his Marilyn Monroe, cankles and all……

I think Gladys comments fall into the category of residents of glass houses and what they shouldn’t do.

Some women don’t realize that sizing has changed for their clothing. A size 12 in 1958 is now a size 6. I laugh to myself when someone says something like, “I still wear a size 8, same as in high school!” I don’t think the same thing has happened for men, since their sizes are generally measurements. Although, a belt can go below a large belly, so it’s kind of the same thing.
