It’s either a burnt out heating coil or the thermistor either way better to trash it and buy a new toaster
I could fix them when they were nothing but a switch and a heating coil, sometimes a knob for longer/shorter. Nowadays, they have computer chips. Easier and cheaper to replace than to repair.
Or you could save yourself the trouble and just eat raw toast.
Jimbo “The Toolman” Gumbo?
Mini oven to the rescue.
Just don’t burn the house down with the toast.
Just give in and buy a new one, Jimbo, before you have a shocking experience.
fixing it will be better than anything you can buy on the market- Keep at it Jimbo !
I like the fact that they drew it with the cord on the table showing that it is unplugged. Disassemble away, Jimbo.
He wants to keep it because it can properly prepare medium rare toast.
We have certainly become a throwaway culture…most of us would just go buy a new toaster. They aren’t that expensive…
Grilled is a lot more trouble, but gives infinite control of done-ness
Hopefully it doesn’t become a possessed toaster like the one in ‘Garfield’ some years ago…
RAW TOAST !!! What are we—-animals??
Get a new one, with 4 slots. More toast for everyone!
He’s doing a crumby job
