There was a Simpson episode where Bart called Principle Skinner and asked if his refrigerator was running? Skinner checked and found that his refrigerator was not running and thanked the caller (Bart) for calling his attention to the problem. It amused me.
“JOHN GLY…” most likely alluding to John Glynn, the big-wig at Andrews McMeel/GoComics until his sudden and unceremonious departure in late 2020.
