From my perspective, it all depends on if he enjoys tinkering with cars, if he’s willing to get help (like taking some classes in auto mechanics), and how badly he wants to make this particular vehicle operational. I knew a guy who had an old Corvair sitting on blocks like that throughout high school. He was 40 before he finally got it running.

Baldo’s lucky. When I’m working on a car and lose a nut or bolt, it usually drops into some unretrievable location in the undercarriage!
