    I still have my own teeth and from what dentist have told me they are far better than most of the population around here. I did have to have one pulled last yearā€¦I think the dentist had to put his knee on my shoulder to get enough leverage to crack the tooth off my jaw bone. Iā€™d have preferred the door & string method actually, but doubt it would have worked.

    I remember my mom tying a thread around my tooth many times and failing for the first few pulls to get my loose tooth out. Do parents still use that method to pull their kids teeth?

    As a kid, Iā€™d pull loose teeth by tying a thread around the tooth and to the door knob, then slamming the door to yank it out.
